Denny Sands was a 2010 inductee  to the State of Illinois Outdoor Hall Of Fame.  He is the Founding President Of the Shabbona Lake Sportsman Club and a US Air Force Trained Cartographer who made the topographical map of Shabbona Lake.  Denny is the leading expert when it comes to Shabbona Lake and is the one that the guides go to when the fishing gets tough.

Jim Kopjo is known as the “Crappie Professor”. His aggressive style of fishing helps him to quickly establish patterns. This makes for informative seminars that shed light on common problems faced by anglers. Jim has been guiding for 15 years and fishes local and regional tournaments. He participated in the Open Water Crappie U.S.A. Tournament Trail, ranking 11th in the nation. In the 2013 North American Ice Fishing Circuit, Jim finished the season ranked 8 th in the nation. He enjoys teaching others his techniques while expanding his own knowledge along the way. Jim also volunteers with several local biologists, devoting countless hours in the designing, placement, and preservation of habitats.

Remington Barkley started training for bass tournaments at 9 years old.  The earliest tournament he could enter was The Bass Federation Jr division for 11-15 year olds.  One month after turning 11 he won the tournament and was The Bass Federation Jr Michigan State Champion!  Remington has fished many tournaments and entered as the youngest ever Pro Staffer for Fishing Complete, Inc. (Case Plastics, Zipper Worm Company, O Wacky Tool).  His fishing future is bright and the sponsors see it.  Ranger Boats and Okuma along with several others have jumped on board and are watching to see what is next for Remi!
